Seventeen hand-blended go into Yellow Deer's Jalapeño Jerk mustard along with some ground chipotle peppers and diced jalapeños. They use brown sugar to temper the moderate heat.
Jalapeño Jerk gives any dish a tropical vibe with hints of allspice, ginger, mace, thyme, and the smokiness of the chipotles. Pieces of jalapeño spice things up a bit along with a medium hot smooth mustard blend.
250ml jar.
Uses: Try in chicken salad or include in your favourite salad dressing. Great tossed with roasted potatoes and grilled vegetables, or as a marinade for the barbecue (especially for chicken).
Ingredients: water, white vinegar, ground mustard seed, brown sugar, spices, salt.

We are a very small business nestled on the coast of Vancouver Island in Qualicum Beach. We pride ourselves on making fine gourmet mustards using the finest mustard seeds grown in Canada.All of our mustards are natural and free of additives, preservatives, and emulsifiers. With the exception of our honey mustard, they are all vegan. Each small batch is produced and packaged by hand with care and attention and when possible we use only Canadian ingredients.
Yellow Deer mustards are an excellent way to add flavour to your recipes (or try some of our recipes!). They are low in calories with many available vitamins and minerals.
