Handmade 55% dark chocolate bar swirled with white chocolate and sprinkled with crushed candy cane pieces.
Ingredients: 54.5% dark Callebaut chocolate (cocoa mass, sugar, cocoa butter, soy lecithin, natural vanilla), Callebaut white chocolate (sugar, cocoa butter, whole milk powder, soy lecithin, natural vanilla), candy cane pieces (sugars [sugar, glucose syrup], natural flavour, allura red, glycerin, canola oil, sunflower lecithin).
Contains: soy and nuts
May contain: egg, wheat, and/or dairy.
Store at room temperature.

Folklore Chocolates
Each Folklore Chocolate is created by me, Elena Frederick. My particular love of chocolate led me to train and work as a pastry chef and baker in the Cowichan Valley, until a series of fortuitous events lead to me discovering my calling to become a chocolatier. In 2018, after several years creating chocolates for a local Shawnigan Lake company, I decided to go out on my own and Folklore Chocolates was born!I work out of my Island Health approved kitchen at my home in Mill Bay, creating small batches from Callebaut Couverture, and sourcing flavourings from local producers such as Westholme Tea and Foglifter Coffee when possible. I am passionate about spreading joy through chocolate and creating products that taste as beautiful as they look and I am excited to join with the Cowichan Milk Company to spread my love of chocolate throughout the Valley!
